SCS Update (4/30/21)

I know it’s been a while since I last posted a blog update. I’m going to try and do this more often from now on. I figure it’s a good way to share and talk about some other things besides just the comics.
I’ve had some extra time as of late and it has helped me to get more done. Managed to draw two of my absolute favorite characters Maid Marian from Disney’s Robin Hood and Krystal from the game Starfox Adventures. Didn’t really shade Marian though. I wanted it to feel more like the original movie and less like a fan image. The Krystal image I did a lot of experimenting on. I put the cherry blossoms in the background because she is riding a cloudrunner. Which if you didn’t know is that Pterodactyl dude. In the game when you visit the cloudrunner fortress, there are cherry trees everywhere. I always liked that detail, so I tried to capture it as best I could. The image on the right features a commission I did for Starhound/Colley, featuring their character Clo’vr humorously carrying off dragon maid Charlotte who belongs to Redflare500. Thank you to the respective owners for the fun opportunity to draw these characters. It was a blast!
Also, I’ve managed to get some animating done this week. Below you’ll see a very basic 1 second Surprise take featuring yours truly Light Lux Collie. I am planning on doing more animations in the near future, even if they are just small clips like this one. I do plan to move on to bigger projects over time. You’ll see that this is also up on my YouTube Channel and you can view any new animations by clicking the animations tab at the top of the site.
